At Fernandes Autohandel N.V., we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality automotive service and a professional customer experience. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a customer-focused and technically knowledgeable Service Advisor.
As a Service Advisor, you are the link between our customers and the Workshop. You ensure that customers are properly advised and informed while coordinating service and repair activities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive customers and identify vehicle concerns through questions, visual inspection or test drives
- Advise customers on required maintenance and repairs
- Prepare clear quotations, including estimated repair time, parts and labor costs
- Prepare and coordinate work orders for the Workshop
- Keep customers informed about the progress, completed work and related costs
- Plan and coordinate service and repair appointments
- Handle customer complaints in a professional and service-oriented manner
- Maintain accurate service, repair and warranty information in the system
Requirements:
- MBO+/HBO level of education or equivalent
- Good knowledge of automotive technology and vehicle components
- 2–5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in customer service or a similar customer-facing environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook; experience with automotive management systems is an advantage
- Customer-focused, proactive and able to perform effectively under pressure
