At Fernandes Autohandel N.V., we are committed to providing quality automotive service and maintenance in accordance with established standards and OEM requirements. To strengthen our Workshop team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Mechanic.
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repair and service work on vehicles. Depending on your education, technical knowledge and experience, you may be considered for the appropriate mechanic level within our Workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repair and service work on vehicles
- Inspect brakes, tires, lights, fluids and other vehicle components
- Carry out preventive maintenance according to OEM standards
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs
- Diagnose technical issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Accurately complete work orders and time registration
- Identify and report technical issues in a timely manner
- Maintain tools, equipment and a clean and safe workplace
Requirements:
- Technical education in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of automotive technology, vehicle maintenance and repair
- Relevant practical experience as a mechanic
- Experience with vehicle diagnostics and scan tools is an advantage
- Good technical and problem-solving skills
- Accurate, responsible and safety-conscious
- Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team
