We are looking for a General Manager to lead our operations in Guyana. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and day-to-day operations of the branch. You will oversee all key functional areas, including sales, operations, workshop activities, finance coordination, and basic HR matters, while ensuring alignment with company standards and strategic goals.

What will you do?

  • Oversee the daily operations of the branch to ensure efficiency, productivity, and service quality
  • Coordinate activities between sales, workshop, planning, and support staff
  • Drive sales performance and support the team in achieving commercial targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Identify business opportunities and support market expansion in Guyana
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demand
  • Work closely with the finance function to monitor revenue, costs, and profitability
  • Support budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting processes
  • Oversee planning of work schedules, service activities, and logistics
  • Handle day-to-day HR matters, including employee guidance, onboarding, and basic employee relations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local labor regulations

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in operations, general management, or a similar leadership role
  • Experience managing small teams in a multi-functional business environment
  • Strong understanding of sales, operations, and basic financial management
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a developing business environment
